United States,May 6, 2020 -- FRONTLINEHELP.org Launches to Support the Well-Being Of Frontline COVID-19 Workers AT&T Provides Critical Support wiseHer, a social enterprise and technology platform providing on-demand expert advice and resources for professionals, announces the launch of FRONTLINEHELP.org. The program, supported through the wiseHer Foundation, a Project of The Giving Back Fund, enables healthcare workers and first responders to book free 30- or 60-minute sessions with experienced professional coaches who can provide a listening ear and advice on managing the pressures they are facing. Any healthcare worker or first responder is invited to register on the site and schedule a convenient time to talk with a coach.
While navigating the COVID-19 pandemic is stressful for everyone, it impacts front-line healthcare workers on a different level. As the pandemic spreads, so does the toll on those providing front-line healthcare: doctors, nurses, nursing aides, paramedics, janitorial staff, EMTs, etc. They are working long hours in highly challenging conditions, and yet may be feeling stigmatized and isolated from their contact with those who have been infected.
The mission of FRONTLINEHELP.ORG is to help these health care workers feel supported, connected, and provide pro bono one-to-one coaching to help them cope and thrive.
"In a global pandemic, it's all hands on deck to fight the virus and tackle the barriers we face to overcome it. Hundreds of coaches have volunteered for this program through a coalition of support from top coaching organizations including: Institute of Coaching, the global Wellcoaches network, several chapters of the International Coach Federation and many more, pulling together to do what they can to provide emotional support to frontline healthcare staff and first responders as they navigate the Covid-19 crisis," said Kathryn Rose, the founding CEO of wiseHer. "Our platform provides and easy, scalable way to connect frontline health workers to these coaches to help them deal with the stress, anxiety, and emotional toll that the pandemic has caused," she added.
To further support front-line healthcare staff and first responders dealing with Covid-19, AT&T is providing financial aid and awareness building for the FRONTLINEHELP.org service.
“FRONTLINEHELP.org is an excellent vehicle to deliver emotional wellness support to the frontline,” said Maria Lensing, vice president Global Healthcare Solutions – AT&T Business. “wiseHer and the volunteer coaches are providing a beneficial service to our country’s frontline workers. I’m proud that AT&T is supporting this critical need.”
The program right now is slated to run through July 31st, however Rose says they are seeking additional corporate and foundation grants and hope to be able to obtain more funding to continue the program for at least a year. “This crisis isn’t going to go away anytime soon, and we know these front line heroes will need support long after it is over,” commented Rose.
